Camelot Forest Conservation Association, Inc. (CFCA) is a deeded community. By that, we mean there are restrictions that are a part of every owner's property deed and that these restrictions "run with the land" as it is transferred from owner to owner.
Deed Restriction No 8 (as recorded in Vol. 821, page 258, Monroe County, PA) states:
To assist the Board of Directors in the preservation and enhancement of Camelot Forest as an appealing residential community, the Vice President, supported by the Homesite Committee, reviews and approves permits. These Permit Guidelines, in addition to other policies, will serve as a common basis for the development and improvement of the community so as to maintain continuity of the natural character and appearance as a means of enhancing overall property values. CFCA requires PERMITS for the following projects but not limited to this list:
The homeowner should be aware that permits may also be required by Tobyhanna Township and other governmental agencies. It is the homeowner's responsibility to secure these permits PRIOR to applying for a permit from Camelot Forest. Should you have a question about any project, please contact the office before undertaking the project. |
